Authors - Time scale

As soon as you are able indicate what you would like to write on.

Complete each article within 3 weeks of committing to do it.

We have not seta launch date of the first segment but as a guide the following is our thoughts at this time

  • Outline of first few segments by early November,
  • Articles in for first segment b mid to end of November, course segment should be live around the winter solstice/xmas time.
  • Once we are in the swing of things segments should be completed about every 2 weeks.
  • We have not seta maximum number of segments.

Remember by selecting articles you want to do, you can get ahead of the segments schedule, and this means you will if you want also be able to join in to get other parts written as we move forward.

A few people have expressed concern at the speed we are going to be working at, however I would point out that a very small number of journalists create a newspaper a day, or magazines on a regular basis, and that our project works by having a range of people to put together articles. As each segment is in effect a small on line magazine the problem is more one of coordination and trying to keep people on time than one of excessive workload.
