Authors - Deciding what to writeDeciding what to writeYou can suggest a topic you would like to work on, and agree this with the advisory group chairman. It does not matter if it is for a segment coming up shortly or one ahead as it will be able to be linked in. Once the topic and area to be cover is agreed you can if you wish enter any request for information you want to on the advisory boards message board. This allows other board members or authors to share information or suggest areas for further research. You may however find it more helpful to specify specific areas of knowledge and update this over time. Research and write the article, taking into account as much from as many paths as you can, or if agreed from the viewpoint of a section of paths or traditions. Next you submit the draft article for publication on this site, so the advisory board members can see it and suggest improvements or additional material that can be covered. Not all suggestions will necessarily be included and on many occasions a note may be added after the article limiting the scope of the article. When you have had a chance to consider the ideas put forward you agree with the advisory board chairman what changes are needed and make them. You then submit final draft for display on this site. On occasions if a lot of changes have been made you may decide to repeat the above process but often it will be down to you and the chairman to sort out minor points. The article can appear with no name, a witch name or your real name, its your choice. We suggest your witch name. If you are a part of a tradition that does not have witch's names we suggest a pseudonym is used. |
